This is EXACTLY like the original one that I removed from the TV. Very simple and quick to remove and replace. It works just as well as when the TV was brand new. Much cheaper than buying from Sony.I highly recommend this sellers product(s).

We ordered this lamp from the seller ELECTRIFIED in advance (October 2014) of our old one burning out and didn't end up needing this replacement until December 2014. Upon installation, we noticed that the lamp was extremely dim and made viewing our TV very difficult in daylight hours.After a couple of weeks of frustration with it, we contacted the seller to let them know that we had received a defective item. They responded with: "I’m very sorry to hear that the item you purchased is no longer working properly." They offered to send a replacement according to their 150-day warranty AFTER they received it back, shipped at our expense.I emailed with them several times asking them to honor the original purchase we made for a new, fully functioning lamp for the price we initially paid. The response I received: "You are responsible for the return shipping costs on ALL returns. The lamp has been working since October, so it was not defective when you received it." Frustrated, I gave up trying to correspond with them and we've just lived with it for the last several months (in the winter there's not a lot of daylight anyway).Yesterday, the lamp completely died. The last two lamps we had lasted more than 3 years each; this one died in less than 6 months. Once the lamp died, I finally reached out to Amazon Customer Service to see what additional steps could be taken. They contacted the seller on our behalf and asked them to reimburse us (I no longer trust them to send me a quality product). The seller responded with only this: "The 150-day replacement warranty expired on this order as of March 21, 2015. You will need to place a new order."I have contacted Amazon Customer Service again and they are conducting an investigation and will let me know if we can receive a reimbursement per their A to Z guarantee.All this to say, I wouldn't trust this seller to provide a quality product again. Nor would I count on them to stand behind their product or provide a reasonable level of customer service. (In contrast, Amazon's Customer Service has always been outstanding in my experience.)

Great fit. Product was lost in shipment but company right away sent another product and received in 3 days without problems. Plan to order another for backup and it would definitely be from this company..

i bought this after my lamp went out in my tv. I thought great! its cheaper than the sony ones and it has good reviews, But this thing lasted less than ten hours :( It worked great when it did work, but it was very short lived. May buy another one just to see if this was a bad bulb. Hopefully I just got a lemon

I have no reason to think this is not a quality product. I bought it as a backup. Mine is indicating that it is dying so I am prepared butI haven't used it yet.

No problem install it,it worked well.My TV screen now look like new.Will buy same product next time.Love it.Only don't how long it'll last,I hope 3 years.

The lamp was well packaged and was easy to install and is working well had it for 4weeks no problems
