I gave it 5 stars because for the money, you can’t beat it!
PLEASE REMEMBER TO LIST YOUR VEHICLE YEAR, MAKE AND MODEL WHEN LEAVING A REVIEW – MOST PEOPLE READ REVIEWS TO SEE IF IT WILL WORK FOR THERE VEHICLE Be sure to look at the wiring diagram photo I have posted with this review, it is accurate. I found it in the Podofo store on amazon for the 2023B radio and is the only place I found it and it is what I used without iussue! The photo might save you some wiring headaches. I gave it 5 stars because for the money, you can’t beat it! No, it’s not a $600 radio, but again for the money, $33.11, it is a great radio! The sound is very good with plenty of volume without distortion. Everything works as advertised! Screen picture quality is ok – easy to read in the Nevada sun. Videos/movies look ok – no issues. The only con I have is, it is a little tricky to mount in my truck but considering that the dash is not a flat dash – it is what it is and not the fault of the seller or factory. I have looked at many great looking installs on YouTube. My truck is a 2005 ford F250 Superduty diesel 4x4 extended cab with 8’ bed. I will buy another unit for my boat. Some install notes – hope it helps… I used the Metra 95-5812 mounting kit. I only used the two side brackets as the Metra face plate of the kit fits the dash good, however the face plate is too small for the radio. As the radio came with an outer trim ring/plate, I used it because it is the same opening width as the dash opening side to side and about 1/8“shorter in height and I can split the difference. I epoxied the trim ring that came with the radio to the radio. I needed to modify/add mount holes on the side bracket to fit the radio mount hoes, side mount bracket fit to the truck was perfect. To get a good fit to the dash opening (flush fit at the face) I simply used washers as spacers between the side brackets and the truck mount holes to move it forward to the dash opening. Note that the dash opening IS Not parallel flat, it has curves so you will stack washers as necessary to flush it out. I know this sounds like a lot, but it is easy to get it done. I used the Metra 70-5520 wire harness – Perfect for my f250! Again, see the posted wiring diagram for the radio – this will remove the second guessing of wiring it up. On the backup camera wiring, simple, you will need an extra 3ft yellow/video RCA cable and connector and a 3ft pc of 14ga wire because the camera cable supplied is not long enough for a extended cab or longer truck. Maybe 6 ft for a crew cab. Or you can purchase an extension cable with the red wires on Amazon for about $10. Kinda funny, one short extension wire cost one third of the cost of the radio! I ran the cable up the driver side frame underneath from the rear of the truck to just in front of the driver seat (with zip ties along the way), there you will find a small rubber grommet in the floor under the carpet about where your left foot would rest if you were sitting in the driver’s seat, wiring enters the cab here. Lift the carpet and you will see it. Plug the RCA cable into the radio and connect the added wire to the pink wire on the radio harness, run them out the back and down and connect to the video RCA and the wire to the red wire on the video cable that came with the radio. At the taillight, tap into the reverse light, black with purple stripe is positive and solid black is negative. The red wire from the video cable and the red wire from the camera power plug go to the positive (black w/purple stripe) and the black from the camera power plug goes to the negative (black wire). Now the camera should be operational. Also note that it might be that the unit has a “Microphone in” jack (small Black Jack like for ear buds) on the back of the radio just to the left of all the RCA jacks, this is what it is on other radios by Podofo, but I am not sure and have not tried it yet to see if it is and it is not called out. I have shown the location on the wire diagram (in red letters and arrow). Good luck!

The good, the bad, and the ugly - this stereo wins it for $34!!
Purchased for 2007 Town Car and 2007 GMC Savana RV van. I wasnt expecting much except ditching the godawful OEM junk radios that - at least in the van - were intermittent fm recieve - stereo..mono...stereo...mono...stereo....mono - you get the jist of it, dozens of times a minute stereo/mono switching was driving me completely insane. Not to mention my 3rd ticket for cellphone use *even when using speakerphone the COT cops are trolls - thieves really, if you have a phone NEAR you - they ticket you. To protect and serve and all. So i decided a cheap bluetooth stereo was in order, after dozen of cordless speakers became more of a PITA that theyre worth trying to conversate and the batts die, or audio was horrible, time to have an in dash solution. My Escalade has a kenwood nav head unit that cost thousands for it and its install, and it just plain sucks for hands free. Time to seek a cheaper option...One of my favorite Canadian YouTubers (1Puglife) always raves about his 30 dollar car stereo, so on his advice i grabbed one of these. Says it does FM and bluetooth and its 34 bucks. Sure. Imagine my absolute and utter amazement at this stereo upon reciept - i didnt even realize it had 2 remotes AND BACKUP CAMERA included - as Pug would say - Scoooore! Ordered adapters from Schosche, of course they sent wrong ones. Returned and got the right ones locally. The good: Got the radio in 2 days, unboxing i noted the 7 in touchscreen unit, 2 remotes, harness connectors, trim pieces, 15 foot rca coax, a small CCD Camera, and all associated items to install same. My intitial impression was. - theres just no way! It weighs just a few ounces- however once i connected the harness and adapters, plugged in the unit and went about setting it up i was pleasantly surprised at the sound quality (it does lean heavy to the bass/lower mid range side) and loudness. All controls and remotes worked, backup cam etc works fine, and bluetooth INSTANTLY connected and several test calls claim the audio is decent - everyone said while my audio was a bit muted, they could hear me fine and unlike the kenwood unit, a partially opened window didnt blow the other party out of the room with wind noise. I did have to make a mental note to talk towards the head unit, but otherwise it worked fine. All movie MP3/4 features work fine, and best of all on 3 different phones - Galaxy A53, Moto A8 Power, BluStudio 6 and 2 tablets - screen mirroring works well on ALL OF THEM. Why does this matter? I use GPS (Google and Waze) Navigation apps non stop, and to have it dead center of the dash is HUGE - instead of it on the phone on the seat next to me or a cupholder. Plug in USB and the phones ask to mirror, click ok, boom! Nav on screen! It also allows one to dim or completely turn off the screen - thats HUGE when you night drive and this 7" display is blowing your night vision out due to a hard to adjust menu based brightness setting- not so on these, tap the sun symbol once, its 50% brightness, tap the half moon symbol, and its full dark mode. Perfect! The 7" screen has several color schemes and 3 suits to choose from, typical contrast and color/hue/brightness adjustments which really dont do much but result in a washed out display in full sun - this is a $34 unit, it looks to be a TN type display which is fine, but they dont handle darker settings well. It is a low end edge lit TN touchscreen Display and will work just fine 99% of the time and probably outlive the vehicle its in. The Bad: Its a 34 dollar radio- of COURSE it has faults... my 2 main gripes? 1) screen mirroring navigation results in no audio - this may be me not doing something correct, i have audio thru the phone/tablets speaker, but none on the stereo. I would like to screen mirror Waze or Google GPS and listen to FM Radio - so far i see no way to do so.. a simple firmware update would fix this eaaily. And 2) Audio. Is it just me or does it seem like treble freqs cutoff really super low - like lower than normal? With treble all the way up and bass on 0 its loud for sure, audio is a tad bit below good. Fair maybe. I dont hear my tweeters even working - and to be sure i plugged the Town Car stock stereo back in and instantly noted the crisp clean high notes of Van Halen album i had loaded. Plugged the Podofo back in, yeah,, highs seem to cut off below 6000 hz or so? I need my high freqs for talk programs and music. Equalizer, loudness or bass/treble control manipulations of all sorts did nothing. Its just more balanced to midrange sound - even the bass adjustment doesnt really bring sub 400 hz freqs into play, it just boosts midrange. That being said, for a $34 FM/Bluetooth/handsfree phone/MP3/MP4/MP5/AVI/Video/Jpg/Backup Camera and Screen mirroring head unit i cannot give it less than 5 stars. It doesnt have the crisp highs and booming bass lows as the OEM (factory) units do, but it is certainly louder than the Lincoln and GMC units - it can attain much louder volume before becoming overdriven and rattly-buzzy. The loud button in the settings makes a BIG difference. The Ugly: im at a loss, i have no choice but to consider price - and at $34 nothing about this unit would rate as ugly - and even my 'bad' issues are subjective to what I expect, YMMV. Lastly, i had an issue with the first unit i recieved and contacted Podofo via the email on the card enclosed. They replied within 2 hours and rectified it by shipping a whole new unit free of charge, and told me to fix or dispose of the old one. I gave it to my son whom installed it in his "fort" with a 12v adapter and he plays movies on it. (It has no audio) Certainly a 5 star unit with 5 star support from PODOFO. Ive already recommended it on my YouTube channel to my #VanLife people and so far everyone seems happy! Shout out to Pug and Podofo for deeeecint radio things.

Do Not Buy
This radio is garbage. I put it in my 2011 Chevy Aveo along with new JBL front door speakers & Alpine rear speakers. All you can hear is static. You can't hear the music clearly at all. Then when I tried to return the radio, the company said no, my 30 days were up. I explained that the reason it took longer was because I was waiting on my speakers to come in. The company absolutely didn't care. Wanted me to record how it sounded which I did, then I never received another response. On top of all that, Amazon was no help at all & I normally love Amazon but at this point I don't think I will be doing near as much shopping on here as before. Do not buy! It's a waste of money. The radio goes off when it wants to, the connection app on the phone doesn't open, none of the features they show on the radio work right, equalizer settings reset every time you turn your car off, & connections are terrible. They shouldn't even be allowed to sell this! & I can't believe Amazon. Now I'm stuck with a radio that I can't do anything with & had to buy a different radio for my car (I chose Pioneer this time, a brand you can rely on & actually has good customer service)!! It's a complete waste of money!! I gave it 1 star just so I could leave this review! I actually give them 0 stars!!!

Great deal for the price
Haven't had a chance to use the back up camera yet, as I haven't had time to set it up, but the radio works great! Everything works as it should and I am very happy with this purchase!!

Cheap and good starter Radio Head Unit!
This is a cheap unit, so I did not expect much out of it. The sound quality improved on my 04 Hyundai Elantra compared to another after market radio that the previous owner installed on it and it fits the head unit space with a few slight modifications. The back up camera works; quality is 720p'ish and is good at night. It's not super clear or perfect but you will know what is behind you. Sound/music cuts off when you reverse/using the back up camera. I just spliced the wire into my rear back up housing wire in my trunk. Someone said it caught fire/blew a fuse. There are many wires you have to splice in and insulate yourself; if you do not insulate and isolate the wires as you splice the radio in, it can and will cause heat/fuse blowing due to having many wires making contact; common sense. If you don't know what your doing; have someone that knows/understands electrical/radio wiring so it wont cause these issues. Touch screen is good but has a slight delay; but as expected for a low cost/budget head unit. Usb port/ MicroSD card slot can be used to play music or video depending on what you have in the memory. You can play video/music video as you drive, not recommended but you can do so. Keep in mind the display is 720pish but not bad video play back. Does not display music name when I use Bluetooth. Sometimes I have to re-connect the blue-tooth from my phone becaue it sometimes does not connect automatically; no big issue. Remote works well uses 2 aaa battery.

It works, I guess it's good as you get for the price. Update : The reverse camera is slow to turn on. The steering wheel control doesn't work well, sometimes it doesn't work at all. When I tried to download the app for mirroring it was blocked by my phone's security, cause it contained malware.

Great radio for the price
Bought an old truck that someone had already installed a fancy pioneer touchscreen in, but he busted the screen and so I needed to replace it. Picked this up because it was cheap, and I need a radio while I'm driving or I go insane, and it's been great. Easy enough to install if you can match colors, though the backup camera doesn't work but oh well. My only gripe is that it's an inch too narrow and probably half and inch too tall for a double din opening. Not really a problem, made it fit height-wise, because my dash was already a little broken, and I just leave it open on one side with a little chunk of plastic to hold it still. Mine doesn't overheat like some reviews say, and the screen is plenty responsive. I don't us any of the fancy stuff, or even the radio part, just the Bluetooth. It is quiet on phone calls both for me and for whoever is calling, but I rarely use that function either. It's strictly for my tunes while I'm driving. It never disconnects on me, and the volume seems fine even with the factory speakers in my 95 Suburban.

good value for bluetooth receiver with backup camera
I purchased this receiver almost a year ago to install in my Econoline work van. Installation was straightforward and I was able to reuse the factory mounting brackets. The included trim ring seals the space between the unit and dash panel pretty well. The included backup camera cable was just long enough to mount the camera above the license plate on the back door. The backup camera was my primary reason for purchase, between the bulkhead and window grates, rear visibility in my van is very limited. The camera does what I need it to, and has some distance markers on screen to help judge how close you are to an object. The bluetooth features seem to work pretty well. I have an old iphone I use for music storage that paired without issue. I don't use the hands free calling as whatever it is the caller wants can wait until I've stopped driving. The music works well through bluetooth. The tone controls are very basic but do what they're supposed to. As others have noted it is tuned to provide ample low to low mid frequency response. The stock Ford speakers are sufficient, and the unit is able to overcome the rattles and squeaks typical of a loaded work van. At higher volumes, there is distortion but it's hard to tell if that's due to the amp in the unit or the speakers. The remotes work as they should. I haven't used the AUX, USB, or MicroSD features. Overall, I would recommend this unit to someone who is looking for an inexpensive backup camera with added features. If you want more sound shaping options or whatever you might need to spend a bit more. I did experience an issue with the units software. Podofo's customer service was quick to reply and replaced the unit outright. I would buy another one of these if the need arises.
