Decent overall quality
I got the 30x loupe. I would say about 60% of the viewing area is distortion free. The un- distorted viewing area is quite clear. Also, the focal distance is incredibly short at an eighth of an inch (~3mm). The focal length is a little annoying, but to be expected with this magnification and lens diameter. The strap that comes with it is useless in my opinion, and makes the case challenging to close. It does come with a microfiber like pretty much everything does anymore.

Challenging to focus
I found this item to be difficult to use and challenging to focus in on details. My husband had one from a local store which worked much better this this one. I will donate this one and purchased a different one.

Inoperable
The product is worthless. I waited for it to arrive for nothing. Could not see anything out of it when it most certainly should have let me see out of it. Did not even come with a little instruction manual. It also arrived open so maybe someone else kept the manual. Which forced me to go online and everything that I read in general for its size (30X), it should have allowed me to see through it while holding items at least 2" from the device. However, it did not. For that reason, I moved on to purchase something that actually works in the form of glasses that comes with built in lights and detachable and or interchangeable lenses. So in my opinion, don't bother with this one.

Nice loupe.
This is my second loupe, it's a 30x. My first one is 10x. No light. It helps me read some jewelry marks, but having a light would be helpful. It comes in a zipped case with a carrying strap.

It takes a little practice to use.
I most liked the fact that it came with a hard plastic zip up case and cord to wear around your neck.

Magnification is accurate and objective distance is fantastic. Just what a jewelers loop should be.
