I feel it was a bit boxy looking and had to take it in myself to give it a nicer fit for my daughter. Also, she is in a size 6 so I figured that I would order a bit big since costumes can tend to run on the smaller side, and this is huge on her!! The skirt looks like a maxi dress on her! I cannot even sew and could have cut and glued a better costume than this. The picture makes the skirt appear pleated. It is really a pattern that I can only describe as attempting to be an A-line. It is shapeless and poorly sewn. I may keep it only because it was pretty inexpensive.
