Awesome book that makes the DSM more manageable

book looked like it got stuck or jammed some of the pages edge are crushed in together. For being a brand new book it looked mistreated.

I have not read this book but Dr. Bishop is a professor of mine and I stand behind his recommendations. Would buy if tuition wasn’t so expensive.

This book has been needed for a long time! A must add to all Counseling graduate programs and even for clinicians! I am empressed by Drs. Capuzzi and Bishop's endorsement of this book! I will be using this text for my diagnosis and psychopathology course!

The most important thing to me in textbook purchases is whether or not I'll actually use the book after school. I think this one will be a valuable resource even after graduation. This book includes both individual treatment AND family/couples treatment which is amazing. There's good examples without it being too specific (some books have way too many examples and not enough overview). They also list good screening and assessment tools. My diagnosis class used this in conjunction with the DSM-5 and it's been really helpful in being able to conceptualize an actual case after diagnosis.
