After so many years of doing videos for online, I finally got frustrated enough and bought an actual clapper to use at the start of each video to mark them. Simple put, it does what I want. It's nice, the right size, seems to be pretty solid. However, when I first got it, I took the marker and jokingly wrote out my fav tv show's info. I left it there for a few days and then went to use it in a real video. Well.. and this is the caveat.. I was able to erase it. I had to use some cleaner and a paper towel and it came clean. But very fantly can still see the writing before. No amount of scrubbing will take it off :( But this is for something no one will ever see except me, so who cares... especially at the price point. My other concern was the white marker.. I worry when it runs out and if I can find another one. :-/ But other than that, it's great.

I love it. I would recommend you tape (gaffer tape, white) the places you will write on. The area where you write takes which you have to erase regularly, get a plastic tape and get a dry erase marker. The reason is the one that comes with it doesn’t wipe off and stains the board. I am super happy with the way it works otherwise.

Calling it wood is a stretch, other than the clacker part. Its size is good and looks alright but the board is so thin reminds you of compressed cardboard or literally pegboard material.
