I have tried "almost everything," so I was unexpectedly happy to find these citronella candles because they are pretty, the scent is subtle, and they are slow burning. You wouldn't think their small shape would do all that, but they are better than anything I have had to keep the mosquitoes away. I use them for 3 hours at a time, and I have used one for four days so far and still have plenty of candle left.
