CHI Infra Gel

I tried this out because I was looking for a replacement for the BioSilk Hard Rock Gelee. I had been using the BioSilk for the past 13 years or so and now I can't find it in the large bottle with pump.This Chi holds well (although not as hard as the BioSilk, but it also is easier to apply evenly. I like it and will buy another bottle of this. It's a good substitute. It's not the same, but it's better in some ways and not as good in others.

I love, love, love this product. I have been looking for a good hair gel for awhile. Finally, I found Chi. It doesn't leave my hair sticky, doesn't have much of a scent and works well with my thick hair. My hair still feels soft after I blow dry and style my hair.

Not too greasy, does the job

My wife has been wearing a pokey-up hair style for several years. This was recommended by her hair dresser. Perfect for her needs. She runs a little bit of this through her hair and she's good to go for the day. It does make the hair stiff enough to stand straight up. It's definitely not for a flexible hair style. The hair is "stuck in place" all day. You're not going to run your fingers through your hair with this gel but if you wear your hair up this is a great product. A little bit goes a long way- don't use more than a few drops.

The hold is 11/10 its tends to flake on my natural hair but works a charm on my wigs.

Great Gel. However, I prefer the "medium hold" to the "Firm" but I can't seem to find it.

I bought this gel to style my fine curly hair, and it works incredibly well - just be warned, a little goes a long way! The first time I used too much, it dried into a super strong cast that made it difficult to scrunch out the crunch. Once I figured out how little I actually needed, it gave me great hold and definition. The scent is a bit perfumy, but not overwhelming and it doesn’t bother me.

I love this gel! I like to use other products first and top with this. I have very fine, low density, high porosity curls/wavesIt can be a little drying (I personally like that)Smell is not too overwhelming and is gone after I scrunch out the crunch 👍

So many reviews on this that it’s hard to determine if it’s right or not. Bottom line is it depends on your hair. For me it is excellent and I experimented with over 10 gels. Strong hold and great smell. The only thing to note is that you need more for a stronger hold but other than that it’s fantastic!
