NPower Dawn to Dusk Sensor - Black

I have yet to install it and have it work. The device looks good, but the installation instructions are wrong. For some reason, the instructions identify the white wire from the power source as the live wire and the black wire as the neutral wire. I went by color and damaged the sensor. The correct instructions are on the manufacturer site in response to a customer question. I'm going to return original and try again since it is a wonderful fit with my CANARM BL16WACBK gooseneck light and seems to be well built.

Nice product that works well but check the wiring instructions!Together with the warehouse barn light and CREE LED bulbs, we'll have dusk-to-dawn lights at a fraction of the cost if incandescent.

Believe the reviewers when they say whats up with the wrong wiring diagram. I opened up the photocell and the diagram inside that is english and chinese, so there you go.I wired mine the way it should be done because it was impossible for me to rewire my own brain. I damaged the sensor like another reviewer. Shame on us for assuming it was a misprint in the manual. So instead of wondering about returning and waiting for it to take 2 weeks, I went to lowes and bought a replacement photocell. They carry a mini one that fits perfectly and is clearly made for north american standards. I installed it into the base, which is a perfect fit for my barn light, and was comforted to know the wiring colors match what my brain can handle.
