Laser Genetics ND3-XL Subzero Laser Designator with Dual Size Weaver Mounts

I really like the adjustable mount that can be placed on top of my scope and allow me to "zero" the laser on my scope crosshairs fairly easily (if not wearing gloves). If the LASER is mounted inline and above the scope then I only have to make some quick adjustments to raise or lower the LASER depending on whether my point of aim is at 20 yds or 200 yds. Obviously a change in distance to target necessitates a change in the elevation of the LASER.TIP: A scope with a red illuminated reticle is very easy to see because of the color difference between the LASER and the reticle.I was disappointed that in the brightness of the flood light function of this LASER. I would not recommend using this product as a spotting light. When the LASER is adjusted to act as a spotting light it isn't nearly as bright as my Kill Light and I found this to be disappointing. If I had to make a choice of only one green light for night shooting I would choose the Kill Light over this product. However, if you have the finances to afford both, the fact that this places a tight beam on a distant target is definitely a big plus. I'm happy that I purchased it but I would only recommend it to those that already have a good spotting light so that the LASER can stay mounted on the users scope.

Bought a 'Nearly New' ND3 XL Subzero from Amazon. Worked great out of the box, but after I mounted it to my rifle and took it out for the first night hunt, the laser wouldn't come on. It was 37 degrees out that night, and the laser would only faintly come on for a second and go out. I tried warming it inside the cabin, but nothing worked. After it finally warmed up the next day, it worked fine again. I am returning it to Amazon, but I may try it again. In the mean time, I am using the Orion H30-G, which is an LED spotting light. It is a very close substitute for this light. It's more for spotting, but it'll light up your scope at 150 yards and costs half the cost of the ND3.

I love products that function as advertised. The ND3-XL is one of those products. It is extremely well made, and comes with everything you need to put it to immediate use. Attached to a scope, it works great for varmint hunting at night. Or, attach it to your binoculars for viewing wildlife at night. Since mine is a recent purchase, I can't comment on it's durability over the long run. However, I have a friend who has put his through harsh use, and is very satisfied.

The product itself is great, once you get the correct one. I had to buy mine elsewhere because the vendor via Amazon sent the wrong one. Thanks to Amazon I got my money back.As for the product, it works as advertised and I like the extended hours on the XL with 2 batteries. The mounts are OK. I picked up a pair of offset mounts to put the laser on more securely on a Sig 716 (AR 10).

Opinion: I would strongly recommend you never purchase a product from Laser Genetics or BSA Optics.FACTS: I ordered this product in 2015. I received a non-functional laser that would not turn on and could not be opened to replace the batteries. BSA optics accepted my warranty claim and it took 13 MONTHS to get a working replacement in hand. I now have a working product in hand... but to my surprise, the company still charged me shipping costs.

Good product compact and easy to handle .Works well.In my experience when using the laser green beam at night, dear where afraid and run away 2 second after the light was on!

I think that the product is a good product but the one that i received was sent back to the manufacturer to be fixed after having it for 4 days. the threads in the end of the unit was stripped and i havent heard a word from the manufacture after they got it back and a couple phone calls ......still waiting !

No complaints after I received the proper Laser , my original order was coded wrong but these good folks corrected the issue.
