Review: Simply the best! If you want a serious kick scooter. It doesn’t get any better than these. - I simply am in love with these scooters! I just recently purchased my second one. I got the Mg one this time. They are so much fun and good exercise and perform great. They are so smooth and efficient. They seem to glide forever with just a couple of kicks on level ground. They are very impressive. They are a fun activity as well as serious vehicle for commuting and a quick way to jump around town. They fold quickly and store away very compactly and are not terrible heavy to carry. I keep one in my car for when I have to park far away from my destination so I can use it to get where I’m going easily and have fun with a little workout in the mean time. I have never had any problems with my scooters. They seem very solidly made with great workmanship and high quality materials.
Review: A purchase you will not regret! - This is my first scooter and I was really excited to receive it! It came out of the box ready to go and is relatively easy to fold and unfold. This scooter is very sturdy! My husband is super tall and over 350#. he got on it with no problems and it rolled fine. I took it with me to a conference and not only did I easily maneuver a large Convention Center, I used it to get to places that were miles away quickly and efficiently. The one thing I would say, that I have not seen others say is that I happen to be a very experienced roller skater (quads) and I have had no problems riding and balancing on this contraption. My husband who is not an experienced skater, said he felt uncertain on it and that it made him a little nervous. Of course, it rolls great on flatter surfaces, but it goes over bumpier surfaces all right as well. I did not run into any kind of wet pavement, but I'm sure it would have the same problems that roller skates do outdoors and that is sliding. Standing in the right place takes some getting used to, but you will be happy with the wide expanse of the plate that you stand on. Because it's so wide it's very easy to switch your legs for kicking off. The scooter's handle bar also comes up very high, which I am glad for and my husband who is 6 ft 9 in could maneuver it easily enough. I understand you're not supposed to put all of your weight on the handle bars, but they seem super sturdy to me if you need to do so here and there. My only complaint happens to be with the wheels and I have the same complaint for roller skates. Why isn't somebody manufacturing a wheel that is good on wet surfaces as well as dry Surfaces? Also, why not use a softer urethane that people can buy if they want to skate predominantly outside? These two things have more to do with things that roll in general. This is a great scooter and you'll be happy with your purchase. I did my research and from what I can tell, you really can't do much better! The only other scooter that happens to measure up seems to be the GoPed and the price for it is higher (ridiculous!) than this one and the hubs on the Goped wheels are not metal - not good if you are heavy. I did like the little rubber outdoor wheel, but the xootr was cheaper and you seem to get more for the money, especially with the good-looking design. The Xootr does roll very well and keeps rolling well with less pushing.

**Q: Do tires require air?**
A: No, our tires are a rubber compound and no air is required.

**Q: I’m 300 lbs and 6’1, will this work for me?**
A: No doubt. The company rates it for 800 lbs and I believe them. I’m 240 and ride it with my 45 and 70 lbs kids in front of me (one at a time) holding the handlebar while I stand behind them and scoot. Great scooter! My only gripe is that it can’t lean super aggressively because the wheel material is pretty hard. So, it can’t do what other scooters can. BUT it wouldn’t have the same weight capacity it does if the wheels were out of the same softer and rounder polyurethane. Like I said, no regrets. Excellent and super fun scooter!

**Q: why is this thing 300 while the razor a6 only 99 is this worth three times the razor?**
A: Owned both. A6 feels like a toy. Xootr feels like a vehicle that can be passed down many times over and last a lifetime. Everything is serviceable on it. Stability, speed and wide deck allow for alternating left and right pushes. I wouldnt pay 300 for it considering electric scooters cost that much. But, it's the superior scooter.

**Q: what is the usable length of the deck and how high is the deck off the ground in inches?**
A: The "usable" length of the deck is 16" if your not including the part of the deck that reaches around the rear wheel - though that could be slightly usable depending on what how you want to use it.  The distance to the ground from the lower most point on the deck support is about 1.25".  The top (standing) surface of the deck is 2.75" from the ground.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A great scooter for accompanying grandkids on the railtrails!

So I might be a little older that some folks, and I might be a little rounder than some folks. I wanted to lean how to use a kick scooter so I could accompany my 7 year old granddaughter on the nearest rail trail. This scooter is very easy to use, the board is low, so easy to kick, the board is long and wide so riding on it down slight hills is simple, and it is fun riding the rear brake down hill. If you are a bigger person - that works really nice. If you want to head out to your local rail trail or ride around home - this is perfect. Since it easily folds, it is easy to transport. And I had a fun time out on the trails. I found some nice videos to teach me how to kick, change the kicking leg, slow down, coast, go down hills - It has been fun. And this scooter really worked well for me at 260 pounds.
