I specifically purchased it for the breathable material due to the fact that we live in a place where temps consistently reach 100+ degrees in the summer and he never seemed to be excessively sweaty when removed from this car seat. Overall, I really liked the ease of installation that made switching it from my cat to my husband’s car so easy that I did not feel the need to purchase an additional base. I also really liked extra canopy extension to help keep the sun out. My only issue with this car seat was the additional cold weather cover could not be used in conjunction with the Chicco stroller caddy. This was not too huge of a deal given the climate in our area, but there were days when I did use it and would have to constantly remove and reattach the cover every time I would switch from the stroller to the car and vice versa. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best carseat Ive boughten! *by G***H on Reviewed in the United States on February 21, 2021* This carseat is amazing! I love that the handle to unlatch is in the BACK and not the front like most carseats are. The base is super easy to install it took my husband probably 5-10mins! We got to purple one its so pretty! Only thing I disliked at first was that it is VERY stiff until its been used a few times! My daughter was 6lb and it fit her perfectly! We just ordered the chicco keyfit caddy stroller that this carseat sits in and would 100% recommend buying that to go along with this! Very convenient and small! My biggest complaint was that it didn't breath for her and wasn't padded enough for comfort. I just purchased this new model for my new son and it blows the other Chiccos out of the water!!! Super comfy. The padding for babies back and bum is incredible. And it has the added ventilation to keep baby from getting too hot on the backside. It looks so nice. And we love the added visor extension that zips on and off as well as the zip on cover. It protects baby from pesky strangers wanting to breath on your baby and touch them lol. As well as from the elements . I wouldn't use it on hot days outside though. It does help keep heat in. Also, most important, the safety features is top of the line. Not just for Chicco. Very happy with this purchase. I got the matching Chicco double stroller for him and my toddler.
