Garnier Hair Care Nutrisse Ultra Color Blonde Anti-brass Toner, 5.09 fl; oz.

Ok so let me start by saying I don't often write reviews. I am a seasoned vet when it comes to bleaching my own hair. Been doing it for years. Never found a good toner/conditioner combo. I love Garnier products. I already have or uss their Shampoo, conditioner, dyes, bleach, leave in conditioner, styling products, and 1 minute hair mask! I found this product a couple weeks ago when I was going to touch up my roots and thought, "why not try it?" I LOVE IT!!! <3 MY HAIR IS SOOOOOOOOO SOFT! It smells good, feels good, and looks great! Instant difference after using it! I couldn't stop playing with my hair! I left it in for 20 minutes, way longer that it suggested but I know my hair needed it lol. Definitely 20 Stars! I had to have some headshots taken, but my hairdresser was out of town, so I crossed my fingers and touched up my own highlights. They came out okay, but a few were definitely brassy, and overall, my hair was not where I wanted it to be for the photo shoot. I used this, and it transformed my hair! My highlights look so professional, and my hair feels so good that I may never go back to paying for a hairdresser to do them. This product acts like a gloss. It takes away brassy tones and blends bleached hair with my original color in a way that looks natural. Highly recommend!

Liked using just one product, this conditioner. Liked that it's not very purpley making a mess of the shower. It works well to brighten but it doesn't last. Once it oxidizes, the good effect is gone meaning after several hours e.g. sleeping on it, it's back to the same. Update 2022: have experimented with other brands and decided this works the best.

I used this as a deep conditioner so I applied it and put a shower cap over it and let it sit. I only intended to leave it in for about 45 minutes but I got busy with something in the meantime and left it in for a few hours. It rinsed clean which is nice because some conditioners leave a residue if I leave it in too long, and I've had other purple conditioners leave a purple tint but this one did not. It didn't do much to reduce brassiness though, and my hair felt about the same afterwards. I bought the Pravana brand purple conditioner at the same time and used it next and it worked much better, it's a little pricier but I'd recommend that one instead.

So, I've bought other products that claim to tone down brassiness and had very little luck. So I didn't go in with high hopes but I was pleasantly surprised! This cream is a violet color which is great because that is the best color to neutralize brass. Smells good, feels good (you don't need to condition on days you use this) and I'm happy with the result. The result isn't drastic but it's noticable, so thumbs up!

This is a fantastic product to reduce brassiness in blonde hair. It gives your hair a beautiful color along with great conditioning properties. Many I have tried leave your hair very dry. This leaves your hair soft and manageable and smells great! I would highly recommend this product!

This is my new go to toner. The intensity varies with the length of time you leave it in. I usually leave in for 1-2 minutes but I once forgot to rinse it out for 10+ minutes, and while it did tone my hair more than I wanted it to, it wasn't drastic and didn't leave any violet shades on my hair. It's gentle enough to use it several times a week which I love. Other toners dry out my hair and I can only use weekly with a deep conditioner. This toner has conditioner in it, and leaves my hair crazy soft! I'm a freak about needing to condition my hair, and I don't feel the need to use an additional conditioner after this at all. My hair is not color treated, medium-light honey blonde with deep gold undertones.

Even though GN makes the best hair colors ever; hair always looks and feels in better condition than before, this product is worthless. Didn't remove any yellow (my hair is almost white already) and made my hair like hay. Truly surprised but will not use again.
