On the unit I received, I ran multiple tests after following the 1st use instructions to the letter. I used several testers at my disposal and the BEST I could get out of the unit was 6300mAh. However, most of the tests were in the 4-5K mAh range. That's what I'd expect from an advertised 7000mAh unit, not a 30K unit. I have requested a replacement, and expect it in the next couple of days, I'll run those tests again and report back.**update**I recieved my 2nd unit, and it's just like the first. I fully charged the battery as instructed, let it sit overnight, then added a bit extra charge to it the next day, in total I pushed 2400mAh worth of electrons into the unit, then hooked it up to my load and set the discharge amperage for 900ma @ 5-5.1v. it discharged a grand total of 3200mAh...I plugged it back into the charger and again metered the milliamps (electrons) needed to fully recharge the pack, and it stopped full @3K. this is definitely not a 30,000mAh battery unit. I'll be returning this one too, this time for a refund.

I researched a lot of different solar chargers before I purchased this one. What sold me on this one was the overall reviews compared to the other solar chargers I have looked at and having OCD (clinically proven) and a form of Ashberger's that compels me to find out everything I can before buying anything besides researching everything else in my life.Also the amount of mAH and price did factor in as well.So far I charged it last Friday and used it to charge 2 cell phones and it has almost a full charge still and it is Tuesday. I plan on taking this to the garden and use it to power my USB powered fan and radio while I watch my grandchild learns to grow vegatables. Well she'll most likely just play in the dirt. But overall it is durable, easy instructions and it holds a charge better than some on the market.

Not 30,000 mah.Only charged my phone 1.5x

I have used it per instructions and it charges my phone. I charged, discharged, then charged per instructions and it has done its job. For the size Mah I expected more, but with no way to test it, I think it is working OK. But the last time I discharged it, I wanted to see how long it would take to charge just using solar. So far, the charger has been in the sun for two days and it has only charged about 20%. The instructions did say that it takes a really long time to charge using solar, but I kind of had the impression it might then take a whole day? Maybe more or less? At this rate, the battery will not be charged until the end of the week. If so, then it is more or less useless as a solar charger. I bought this so I could charge my phone while camping. I don't think it is going to work.

Purchased this the other day as a backup charger for long days at the soccer field, hiking and summer camping trips. Very quick delivery. Charger is well made and looks very durable. Charged it from an electrical outlet yesterday and then used it to charge my phone last night. It worked great! Having the 3-mode dual beam flashlight is a very useful addition. This charger will be perfect for all our summer time adventures.

The compass is a joke... it doesn't work.Seriously needs to be $10 cheaper.Update: csr was prompt and nice. Will still buy from this company.

I charged it when I first got it and since have completely charged two iPhones from 5% to 100% and only used not even half of the chargers power! Very impressed with this item!

Very disappointed. Didn’t work right out of the box. I bought this for a big 4 day 40 mile backcountry hike and wasn’t able to us it at all.
