This is a great slip and nice thick material that sits well under mini skirts. I do feel that sizing is a difficult subject and I made a mistake by reading the reviews of women who said the slip came up small. My experience was that it comes up a bit big, but that's also subjective so I will give my body measurements so you can decide. I typically wear a size 8 and bought the short version of the size 10-12 which is a little looser and longer than I'd want. My waist is about 25-26 inches and my hips are about 36 inches. I later bought the short version of the size 6-8 which I found to be a perfect fit for me and exactly the right length so that it doesn't show under mini skirts. Typically I'd wear a mini skirt that is around 16-18 inches long. I hope this helps you make an informed decision.

Lovely material, and fits perfectly

Some years ago my daughter-in-law bought me a slip just like this in black and I love it. I've wanted a white one for ages and now I've found one! It's perfect. Well made, nice material which is lovely and stretchy too. This is an excellent compliment to any lighter coloured outfit. Definitely to be recommended.

Stops clinging but very small sizing

I am a size 16. Would I like my slips to be a bit loose? I just don’t like them to be clingy. I bought this slip thinking a size 18 to 20 would be just right but when I put it on, it’s made for somebody to me who is a size 12. there is no way that this would fit someone size 18 to 20 so don’t bother buying it if you are. It’s going straight back. As most clothes (especially underwear) seem to be made in China now I think they need to try and get the sizing right.

Ho ordinato questa sottoveste color ambra da mettere sotto un vestito di pizzo dello stesso colore. Dalla foto sembrava carina. Dal vivo è ancora più bella. Morbida e di effetto. Tanto che ne ho ordinata un altra di colore bianco! Consigliatissima
