I do a lot of meat prep in the house - wild game, fish, etc. and the medium fits my hands perfect compared to the "one size fits all" brands which leave too much room at the top of my fingertips. For those who complain about the tears - keep in mind these are light duty and single use, so these last just fine for their intended purpose in our home. For the occasional tear - it's not a big deal - I just slip another one over it if I really need too. And this information is for those who have maybe only purchased one box: We (my husband and I) have gone through probably 15 to 20 boxes a year for 8-10 years, having originally purchasing them at our local Ace Hardware. In all those years, I recall MAYBE a couple boxes with a bit too much powder, and MAYBE one or two with a strong smell - like they burnt or cooked the plastic too long. When I order them on Amazon, I get quite a few at a time.
