Effective Relief
The Jakemans Blackcurrant Menthol cough drops are a standout in their lineup. These are good but one gripe
I just gave four stars cuz I love these drops and they help get rid of stagnant mucous that I get due to acid reflux. BUT my only gripe is they need to cha ge the plastic wrap. It sticks to the drop and some doesn’t come off and I don’t catch it all the time. Then it gets stuck and I end up feeling it in my mouth. Foil Would be so much better or even the wrap like ricola uses which seems like it’s wax type paper. Otherwise these are good.

Smooth menthol flavor
Great cough drop which I first encountered on a trip to Ireland. So happy to be able to get it in the States. You can feel the menthol in your mouth, with a subtle black currant flavor to finish.

Tasty and soothing
Great cough drop! Very tasty and really helps sooth a sore throat. Taste can be a bit medicinal at first but it grows on you. You'll soon taste nothing but Blackcurrant and relief. I bought these back when I caught the coof. My throat was sore and actually raw from all the coughing. These really helped suppress the cough and Brough some much needed relief to my sore throat.

A Big, Big Disppointment
I don't quite understand why these are all popular. They're gigantic for starters. And so each one contains a high dose of sugar. Further, the flavor is not especially pleasant. Finally, I don't detect much menthol, nor did they sooth my throat.

A tasty yet effective lozenge
The flavor is yummy, so it won't gross you out. They are quite effective as well. Ordered more for the medicine cabinet.
