I ordered this salmon once and it was the color Alaskan wild caught salmon should be in my opinion! I was tired of buying the light version from the grocery store! I wish it wasn't pricy or I would purchase it more often but I understand that shipping is pricy, also. The fillets came well packaged with ice packs completely surrounding the inside of the shipping box. You get two boxes of nice sized fillets inside. I will order from Northwest Wild Foods again!

This is my first purchase of this product. The salmon is packaged beautifully. It came boxed with individually wrapped pieces. It is mild and delicious in flavor. I will purchase more of this product as soon as I run out. I am so happy with everything having to do with this salmon. Don’t hesitate to purchase this salmon. Would also make a fantastic gift.

I tried one box and had Alaska King salmon almost everyday just to see if it would really change my health . And the answer was an astounding yes . The pieces were all under 6 ounces individually packed in dry ice and easy scissor cut and slide out ready to use proportion for steaming ,grill or sautee in pure Girorganic ghee butter from India . And some fresh Baby Mandarin orange slices and fresh Pomegranate seeds and a Splash of Turkish Pomegranate molasses also from Amazon and you have pure Ambrosia decorated with almost raw red onions. Cook the fish on each side very rare but not quite sushi . Lemon juice for added health or taste. Black pepper and no salt. Quick cook fast food .

It used to be delicious and very tasty, delivered directly from the west coast (I live in the east coast). It was packaged in the nice box and the pieces looked fresh. Now something has changed in the logistics and instead of nice packaged box with the 'Northwest Wildfood' label I got a disorganized bulk of pieces of salmon, which looked visibly worse, almost 'gray'. I cooked a few pieces and the difference is just sky and earth. The fish is just TASTELESS - it was very old and rubbery! I paid so much to get such awful fish. I couldn't even continue eating it. I had to throw the rest into trash!

Beautifully presented packaged salmon. We look forward to our once- a-week salmon dinner. And the subscription is well worth it. Always know when its shipped, but easy to adjust delivery timing.

Well not exactly like the picture but then nothing is Arrived on dry ice well preserved no issues don’t exactly look like the picture smaller pieces but they taste fine and I live in Virginia in the mountains so kind a hard to get for seafood this is the next best thing

I have to say, first off, that these salmon steaks are excellent. The only thing I do not like is having to deal with the dry ice. I certainly understand the need to include it in the shipment, and the packaging the seller designed is quite nice. But it still frankly scares me to have to handle the box containing dry ice. ----------------------- Note to the Seller: I wish there were another way to get your steaks without having to deal with the dry ice. Have you ever thought about providing your steaks through a grocery store such as Fred Meyer/Kroger or Albertsons? I'd prefer to buy it that way in the future so I don't have the worry of the dry ice.

We've been very unhappy with the farmed Atlantic salmon in our local supermarkets, so decided to try these Alaska Chinook filets. Wow! What a wonderful difference. The flavor is exactly what we were hoping for - definitely worth the price. This is our regular salmon from now on.
