Not too big, not too small, not too detailed, just about right for easy, simple reading material. This is exactly what I was looking for. I've got plenty of big heavy serial killer books, documentaries and enclyclopedias, ect ect that I've gone through. I took a chance on this since the libraries are closed due to the COVID, as some smaller books are stupid; too little on information or too intellectual for me. This one has information on common serial killers, tidbits of info I didn't know before now and its easy to get through if this stuff interests you. I love it, it has become one I'll not be afraid to share with others. It is also on the more not serious tone side in areas, which makes it great even more and yet still does indeed creep you out. Wish I had more of these books.

An excellent, interesting, and terrifying read. This is definitely perfect for any true crime fan in your life. Equal parts thrilling and informative, this is the book to read alone, at night, with all your doors locked, when you want a good scare. Divided by question, the answer you want is easily found and given to you in a quick 'lil blurb of fascinating information. I'm particularly fond of the sections on women serial killers and less well known killers. If, after reading this, you want more or want to check out the sources for yourself, there's a very helpful list of resources at the back of the book. All in all, would highly recommend this book for any true crime lovers - and it’s perfect for the Halloween ~spooky~ season.

My wife like these 20/20 type murder mysteries.

So, I'm a true crime addict. I love true crime podcasts like My Favorite Murder and the late night murder TV specials. This book is perfect for that interest! What I especially like is it's not organized in terms of full stories, which is what most other books like this do, but it's organized around interesting tidbits. If you already know about the major serial killers, you won't really need to read the stories again. But you're bound to find new information and horrifying details in this book, because it focuses on the little things. That's what actually makes it more fun and creepy for me!

I took my time reading this book. It's set up in a very interesting way, utilizing a question and answer format that fully immerses the reader in the story behind each case. I love Kaminsky's writing style. She gives you all the details without one iota of boredom. It was a fascinating read. It was pretty graphic a times, so prepare yourself for that. But don't skip this book,especially if you're a true crimes fan like I am! You'll love it!

The mind is a very complicated place. This book lets us peek into the minds of serial killers. The author sure must have been fascinated in how each serial killers mind worked and what drew them to do the things that they did. It is all very morbid and makes me wonder why and what makes people think and do the things they do. The most interesting facts I learned where that the USA has the most serial killers. Way more! Could that be because we have more privileges and our country does not use the death or torture methods as a result for these crimes? This book is very thought provoking and will send your mind reeling!

This is the best book I’ve read in a long time! Easy to read, so much variety! I finished this book in a weekend but because instead of binge watching Netflix I was HOOKED on this book! Now I’m trying to find more from this author!

Perfect book for a serial killer connoisseur! I like that it’s easy to pick up and read a short section at a time and so I tend to read a couple of pages before bedtime.
