a note about Rem 870 fit
for those with a Remington 870 please note that out of the box you can fit two rounds of 2 3/4” shells but you can not fit two rounds of 3”. you can however easily cut it down and round the edges. just a heads up. other than that it is what it is and works.

Works perfectly for 2 3/4" and 3" shells
Mossberg 940 Pro Field 12 gauge. Pulled the magazine split metal end cap and spring. Dropped the Allen plug in and replaced the spring and cap. I had some dummy 2 3/4" rounds and it fit 2 in the magazine tube and another round could go in about 1/2 way. Tried 3" #3's last week in Lubbock. 1 in the chamber and 2 in the mag tube worked just fine.

Good product
Perfect fit, I use 2 1/2" shells in my 870, the original plug would allow the 3rd round to go into the feed tube, not legal where I from. The new plug prevents that.

Not for 20 guage Rem 870
These are greats plugs. Just a heads up though, this does not fit my 20 gauge Remington 870. I had to find the old #2 pencil. Lol

Remington 870 Express Magnum
Works good for my Remington 870 Express Magnum. Using 3 inch shells it won’t allow a 3rd shell to fit into the magazine tube.

A little too big but sawed off the tip.
I have a Remington 870 pump. The plug was about 5mm too big and I couldn’t get the second shell in the magazine. I sawed off the top of the plug and it works just fine now. 3 stars bc I had to saw the tip off for it to work.
