I have erratic cycles, and I never know from day to day what it's going to be. Most days I wear a menstrual cup and a pad, although I am allergic to the pads. Now it's just me, the cup, and now my panties and I am comfortable. I don't have issues with leaking or that smell that comes with either. And at the end of the day I just rinse them out and toss them in the washer. No, I don't have to rinse them but it's habit, and I don't put them in the dryer, I air dry them, just to keep them newer longer. They are perfect for that. One thing I need to mention is that they don't hold a lot so if its more than just a little here and there, they stay wet and you can feel that wetness on your skin. I was home mostly so I just switched them out frequently. They work well if you put a thin pad on as well. I never got my outer clothing wet. Additionally, I have problems with sewing on my skin. These did not rub or irritate my skin at all.
