Very impressed. Performed exactly as stated and sorted my leaky roof.
Used this to repair/seal a lead lined bay window roof and I am very impressed. The tin arrived in perfect condition, the lid was securely sealed with metal clips and the contents were complete. Tips: mix/stir very well before use to make sure the fibreglass strands are mixed back into the paint (only the black and grey paints I think). Wear a good quality face mask as the paint gives off very strong vapours. The instructions warn you of this. Apply a couple of coats depending on the nature of and damage to the surface being painted. I applied 3 coats to be sure, but the 3rd was overkill to be honest. Very pleased and impressed with the product. It's sorted the problem for me.

So Far So Good!
I read all the reviews on this and decided to give it a go. I established where the leak on my shed roof was and discovered it was probably where there was a join/ seam. Got out the ladders and once I felt save painted this seal all along the seam. As we had 2 days of dry weather and a bit of sun I also coated again on the second day. Very easy to use its rather like funny honey. I also coated the ceiling of the roof inside where I had detected the leak . I put my potting tray under where I had put it to catch water and after 3 days of very heave rain NO LEAK. It wound have cost a great deal more if I had got a man in to do it! Not bad for a 70 year old granny I am very happy. Oh yes as stated in several reviews just throw out the brush and wear rubber gloves and tale great care up the ladder! Mm all

Excellent Stuff
Only use this paint externally or in a very well insulated room as the solvent is very pungent. The spray is better suited indoors but still needs to be ventilated. This stopped a shower basin gulley drain leak after two coats for several years.

Unexpected High Gloss
Product (clear) applied very well and appears up to now to be effective. My only gripe is that it dries to a high gloss which was not expected, especially if the area can be seen.

Top Notch Stuff!
A friend was helping with my barn roof. He told me I needed to get something for the fiberglass panels that were 45 years old. I picked this out because it sounded like it would work. He started painting this on one of the panels and yelled down, "This is great stuff! Where did you get it?! I can't believe how good this works!" It darkened the panels, but the same light came in from them inside the barn. A super coating! You must be very careful when using this because the vapors will do a job on you if you are not careful. Good masks and a nice breeze work perfect.

Restores dried out shingles
I had a spot on an older roof that needed to be replaced but I was planning on replacing it in a few months when the weather was nicer and i had the time. This stuff did a great job helping reseal the area where water had come through during a heavy storm. It smells like rubber cement and seems to have a slightly runnier consistency. With these shingles being extremely old and dried out, it didn't spread extremely far but filled in every gap quite in the granules nicely. I was able to use a brush to push it around the whole area. It's similar to putting on a thick asphalt sealer on a blacktop driveway but it is clear and made for shingles. Since the shingles were old and a lot of the connective material has disappeared, you could definitely tell a difference as it made these flat instead of the dried out granular top. The whole section where I put it looks much shinier than the old section. It probably brings it back to looking like a new shingled area. It did the job to seal it quite well; it's just definitely noticeable where you put it on an old roof.

Large gaps require several coats.
Small gaps seal ok but wider openings require several coats. Be sure to let it dry between coats.

A Good Brushable Sealant
This stuff is exactly what I have been looking for. Other products were very thick and after only a year on my roof have started to split. In fact this stuff is so good it has kept the rain away from our home, except for a couple of showers, for about 3 months now! Regrettably, our water bill has gone up keeping the yard alive. :)

wear disposable gloves
I bought this to seal up six leaking seams in rain gutters. My problem was gutters were 24 feet high and I had a 16 foot ladder, so you can do the math. The paint brush I used on a 8 foot pole could not apply this sealant with enough pressure to be effective. You really need to put his on with heavy brush strokes loaded with the sealant and unfortunately I was not in the position on the ladder to do that heavy enough. After sealing up six seams with one coat, it rained 48 hrs later and all seams still leaked. Im not giving up on the product. I'll try to heavy brush it on once I rent a 28 ft ladder. But, to be effective, I believe you have to brush it on from a foot away with heavy pressure strokes and lots of the sealant on the paint brush. Also, its real sticky so wear disposable gloves to make clean up much easier.
