I was potting up prickly pear cactus pads and got a few of those nasty things in my fingers through the leatherlike material - these spines are terrible to get out because they're almost invisible. I wouldn't wash these in the washing machine by the way - I did that with a similar pair from another vendor and the material got hard and inflexible and mishaped, better to hand wash with mild soap and air dry. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ able to grip carboard boxes for lifting *by R***S on Reviewed in the United States on March 19, 2022* really good grips for cardboard boxes ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Durable for retail work *by W***W on Reviewed in the United States on June 16, 2019* I've been using Atlas gloves for around 10 years (before Showa got ahold of them). They are very good for the retail industry since they can be used to rip open cardboard boxes and also pick up dimes off of a counter. I do use two sets, one for handling money and one for tougher jobs, and I will switch them out about every six weeks or so.
