Phoenix Ultra Star by Discraft
Seems like a great frisbee. The Phoenix pattern is as pretty as expected, and looks great while spinning. The phoenix itself is a matte orange, but the grey dots are actually holographic reflectors, so you get that rainbow of colors, not just silver. Best of all, it is MADE IN THE U.S.A.! What is there to say? It's a cool design, it flies the way it's supposed to, I guess you could even flip it over and eat dinner off of it... Fun Ultimate frisbee. Grab one and get out there.

Steady Thrower
This is the standard in disc throwing weight. I found it to be a good thrower with good distance and accuracy / control. It'd be tough to get much better, though I think they could push more weight out to the edge of the disc if they wanted to.
