I loved the product when it arrived - heavy duty, tight fibre, deep colours, looks like in picture. I was surprised to see one side was sticky but doesn’t leave any residue, probably useful for yoga on tiles.Used it as is for yoga class for 3 days.. but it really smelled organic. Washed it in the front load machine on 15 min cycle and was very happy that smell was gone, colours did not run at all, no fraying at all, stickiness was still there, which is good. One side is a little smooth so on hard days, I do yoga on the sticky side. I use it over my old foam mat for extra softness.The belt is just great design, I can roll both my mats together and still carry them. Belt is sturdy too, though the stitching came off and I had to get it re stitched from a cobbler for 20bucks.So happy it is natural cotton, environment and artisan friendly, can easily be washed so hygienic and will definitely last much longer than stupid foam mats!Overall, one and a half weeks in, still love it!

As being made of cloth, the cushioning was not much. It is good for those who can tolerate hard/rough surfaces. It is also heavy. It did not slip on the floor which is a good thing.If you want to experience how it will feel, get a normal mat/runner/carpet made of cloth with no foam inside and with thickness of about a centimeter. If that feels file to you then you may be able to use it for your exercises.Locally it was available for 750 rs.

Good mat for exercise and yoga. But quite different from the synthetic stuff out there. So for some asanas, it can hurt your knees as the striations bite into your skin. If you're wearing knee pads, then you're OK. I use this for regular exercises and wear knee pads and it worked well for me.

The product is of high quality cotton and the rubberized surface below helps to do the postures with easy and comfort. It maintains balance without slipping.I personally wanted a mat for practicing astanga yoga And I am satisfied with the product. I suggest this product for other viewers who are worried about the quality of the product.

Quality is good. It is like soft carpet of cotton.

It slips a little when we yoga is performed on a polished floor. Other than that it’s organic and good.

I really like this mat a lot. It's sturdy and doesn't slip while performing bodyweight exercises on the floor. Must have if your regularly work out at home.

I like the product in every respect except the price;the price of product may not be reasonable.
