Ideal item
We purchased these last winter for the top and bottom of our path. They are very sturdy and easy to use. We put the word salt and the lids, rock salt and a scoop inside the delivery folks used it also. Worked very well.

Great little salt bin, perfect salt storage for driveways, steps, and patios.
I have just moved somewhere that gets a lot of ice and snow during the winter, so having a little grit bin has been a must. This sturdy, plastic, easy to open bin has decent capacity without being cumbersome (as it is 30kg storage, it holds a 25kg bag of salt easily with room to spare.) It also comes with a scoop for spreading around said salt. It has been excellent value for money and was delivered in time for the bad weather.

Good price. Seems sturdy enough, one star off as scoop for spreading grit/salt is too small, will need to look for something bigger

Looked good on paper
Looked good online and seemed ideal for my needs. However, the packaging used to send it via Evri was totally inadequate. Clingfilm wrap will not protect a box from damage in transit and, unsurprisingly, it arrived badly damaged. UPDATE 20/1/26: I'm happy to amend my rating to five stars as the seller has been in touch and arranged a replacement which arrived in perfect condition and has now been put to good use for my driveway road salt. It's an ideal size for domestic use and even comes with a scoop for scattering the salt over your driveway.

Such a sturdy, lightweight & sealed salt box. No water gets in. It may look small but holds plenty. Very good buy!!
