My BBQ mats are really good and you use them and then clean them afterwards. I hardly had to clean my BBQ afterwards. Would definitely recommend . My BBQ is a gas one .

A rather sceptical purchase but quite impressed. I use a lot of different marinades on my bbq and cleaning is always a chore. These mats certainly keep the grill clean and work very well with a couple of disadvantages. You do still get grill marks but need to take care with marinade on the mat burning and when cooking items like sausages the fat collects on the mat rather than dripping onto the coals/burner. This, of course, means your sausages are cooking in the fat and you miss out on the flavour added by the fat burning off on the coals. One word of warning, I have found that doing the majority of the gilling on the mats followed by open grilling once most of the sticky bits have been cooked works well and is an excellent compromise but not with sausage type meats that leave lots of fat, that fat is very hot and could lead to burns if mat moved. The mats are very good with vegetables, and fish grills well. Cleaning? Foods, like vegetables, leave little mess and a simple wipe is all that is required. With more ‘messy’ foods such as marinaded meats, the best way is to carefully (because they are hot) wipe any residue off quickly after use but this is usually not practical with your bbq getting cold. Once cold I have found the residue scrapes of quite easily, I carefully use the sharp edge of my spatula with the mat laid on a flat surface. Washing up as normal or in a dishwasher usually removes the rest. So, to summarise, the mats work, watch out for hot fat, do not get flavour from marinades burning on coals, cleaning a little more effort than a plate but a lot less than cleaning the grills.

I’ve had these before. Brilliant for use on bbq, also use in the bottom of the oven to catch drips. Lasts for ages, scrape off loose food and put in the dishwasher. What’s not to like.

Great value for money. Easy clean and long lasting. Had a few bbqs and they remain non stick. Less mess and smoke.

This is the second set I brought as the others got cut with a knife. Good for ovens as they keep most of the grease and spillage from getting stuck to surfaces of tray. Will clean easily in sink with a scourer. Not great on coal bbq’s as soak up all the heat and doesn’t cook food. Not bad on gas bbq’s but need to turn gas higher and longer to cook.

I thought I’d post a review as there are some mixed reviews on this product which nearly put me off purchasing. I purchased this for a large jubilee bbq I was doing and cooked 20 sea bass fillets using the mats. The fillets cooked really well, I got a nice crispy skin, with no sticking to the mat. Key things with this product is not to have your heat too high, have them around 6-8 inches from your coals and don’t cook anything too fatty (ie burgers, sausages etc) If you follow that then these mats are great and they wash up well in the dishwasher.

Muy práctico a la hora de asar pescados y verduras en la barbacoa. No se pegan a la parrilla, son muy fáciles de usar, y luego los quitas o pones otros limpios (porque vienen 6 láminas) y sigues con la carne. No hay he usar dos parrilladas o andar limpiando la primera.Se limpian con agua y jabón muy fácilmente, secar y listo para la próxima.

Le top ! C’est déjà le troisième que j’achète. Installé sur une plancha 6 feux, je peux découper à la taille idéale. Je le change toutes les 10 cuissons environ. La viande et les légumes cuisent correctement et ne collent pas. Le nettoyage est tellement pratique !
