Is this waterproof / smudgeproof?

I don’t know about waterproof but it certainly is smudge proof. I polished older Keen shoes (they look great by the way) and wear them to do yard work and grocery shopping etc. I tell you this because I live in the country and working in the yard, there is often times a lot of moisture. My Keen shoes have been able to handle the moisture and continue to look great with all that I do in the yard. I hope this helps in answering your question.
