Great Rods for beginners.
I just started welding a few months ago and I’ve been using the same three rods and I’ve still got plenty left on them and the rest of the pack unused. They work really well for lift starts and maintaining an arc and don’t wear down quickly as long as you aren’t constantly contaminating and sharpening.

Works as designed.
TIG wekding tungsten electrode works great, good value.

These are NOT non-radioactive
I've got a Radex One geiger counter/dosimeter that I laid on top of a new package of 10 0.040x7" electrodes. It read 0.28µS/Hr, with a background reading of 0.10µS/Hr.For comparison, I also did the two packages of red 2%Th electrodes I had on hand, getting 0.56µS/Hr and 1.08µS/Hr readings. Mind you those are 3/32 and 1/16 electrodes, and different brands from a local welding supplier. Dividing the reading by the volume of the electrodes gave me wildly different numbers for the 2% thorium (no, I didn't mix up the data - I re-measured to be sure) at 0.08µS/Hr per cc (3/32") and 0.35µS/Hr per cc (1/16").These "Tri-mix" .040 electrodes come back at 0.12µS/Hr per cc. Not bad, but definitely radioactive.

Great arc stability and longevity
Been using there tungsten/other products for a while now and I'm very impressed. The tungsten has great arc stability along with lasting longer, I have had zero issues with there products plus there prices you can't beat. Don't hesitate to give them a try cause I'm glad I did plus they have saved me money.

A great start!
For my first attempt TIG welding these did just fine. I don't have a whole lot of experience, but these seemed to handle different thicknesses of metal and made my arc very controllable. Also this particular tungsten sharpens really well with a brand new cut off wheel.
