Great to stop solder flow! Yes, it's true!
I use this watercolor in a completely different application: I am a metalsmith, and it assists in blocking places I don't want solder to flow! Great price point along with the convenience of Amazon.

Good quality high grade paint.
I purchased this based on price. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. By the way, I have purchased tubes of WC paint from others that came damaged because it was not properly packaged. This was well protected in a stiff box inside a bubble wrap envelope. My first impression when compared to my old Dan Smith of the same color was very good. Good fine granulation and intensity. Transparent wash looked lovely. The paint mixes and flows well. I would certainly recommend it to anyone. Lightfastness is something I will not know about for some time.
