The directions were thorough and easy enough to follow (a few odd grammar items, nothing terrible though). I purchased it to repair my armrest on my car door, but it isn't very easy to work with the materials around an edge. Also, the heating tool doesn't stay hot long enough (essentially you heat a piece of metal that has been anchored on the end of a wooden stick using a hot iron). It wasn't super convenient for where I was working. My kit was missing the filler that was described in the instructions, but I didn't need filler for my repair. The kit has potential for a different type of repair. I think it would work best for a small tear or small hole on a flat surface (seat or chair back) not near a seam or an edge. It's reasonably priced, but perhaps a bit high for my need.
