Is the smell very strong with this? (I can't get hold of the unfragranced elnett hairspray, so I'm looking for the least smelling one!) Many thanks

Personally all lacquers have "a smell" but this does not offend me as it is not intrusive and I certainly do not notice it once it is on and I have left the site of application - in my case the bathroom. I doubt anybody can answer as to what or how your nose interprets the "smell". We are all different.

I find it very hard to find the un-perfumed Elnett so how long does the smell of this last on the hair?

I have used this hair spray for quite a long time and I find it really good. I know what you mean about the smell but I don't think it lasts long or is as noticeable to other people. I will continue to use it.
