I looked for a mixing bowl with high sides- tired of bowls where the ingredients get flung all over the kitchen, when I turn on my hand mixer. BEAUTIFUL, SUBSTANTIAL BOWL! I’ve used it thrice, today, starter, bread & fruit salad- and it’s absolutely perfect! I ordered the 7qt separate from the 3 piece set - I can’t wait to get the others! THANK YOU for such a great product!

Perfect size for mixing cookie dough. It's deep so the dough doesn't go all over the place when mixing with a hand mixer. I didn't have trouble removing the sticker like some of the reviews said.

I used this for making 30 day worth of dog food. Great size for large mixing receipts

Good sturdy bowl!

First off, I was hesitant to buy these based on some of the comments on the requirement of using tactical nukes to remove the labels. I did not see any (or very few) reviews mentioning rust, so I decided to give them a shot. They arrived yesterday and I was already planning on what nefarious tools I was going to have to use to remove the dreaded stickers. To my delight, they peeled right off. I am not sure if I am just lucky, or if they did change the stickers. There was no residue left behind. The bowls seem to be of very good quality with heavy gauge stainless and I am looking forward to enjoying them for years to come. On a side note - if you do order the set, you may want to order them individually so that they ship in their own boxes (gotta love Prime!). I ordered the 1.5 qt, 5.5 qt, and 7.5 qt together. Amazon shipped the 5.5 and 7.5 in the same box and the ding-dong that packaged them decided to put them side by side in a huge amazon box (rather than stacking them with air cushions in between) and then shower them with the Amazon air packets. I opened the box and there were noticeable dings in the 7.5 qt bowl, but the 5.5 qt one looks to have survived without any noticeable damage. The 7.5 qt one is going back - it's a shame that it was needlessly damaged. I'll be sure to update if I notice any rust forming, but based on the other reviews, I do not expect that to be the case. 2/21/2017 UPDATE: Over 2 years with these bowls and they are still going strong. We use the smallest and medium sized bowls at least once a week and typically throw them in the dishwasher. There is no sign of rust. The nice mirror finish inside does get scratched, but that is to be expected with using metal utensils. Still loving these bowls.

Huge mixing bowl. This has a nice weight to it. It is not cheaply made. Great for mixing bread dough. Love my new bowl.

The bowl is perfectly shaped for holding all my nesting metal and plastic round mixing and storage bowls. That makes it a very helpful kitchen occupant. It is very handsome, and of a perfect weight, heft, and sturdiness. I have no concerns as to its durability. Yet it is light enough for me to handle, which is an issue for me as I have "infirm" hands. I find the size and steel make-up to be essential for my kitchen -- perfect for popcorn, parties, draining large quantities of scorching soup, or vigorously mixing pasta salads, etc. I purchased this in 2015 and the label inside the bowl was immediately and easily removable. Cons major and pretty minor: 1) The grade of stainless steel is NOT specified on the bowl. I suspect it is NOT 18/10, as the brushed outside surface DOES stain. Disappointing. But the stains have been removable with a mild abrasive (baking soda) which did NOT mar the finish. 2) The bowl is marked twice on the outside "7.5 QT (7.1 L)". That is the printing one can see in the picture. As I plan on using it as a serving piece at parties, not just for no-one-is-looking-mixing, I wish it were marked on its bottom, instead. But I nevertheless recommend it heartily.

The bowl is amazing. Regretfully, Amazon delivery not that much so it arrived certainly scratched despite the material being sturd, which means that storage and transportation was done without much care. Reordered again as I love the size, shape and sturdiness of the bowl
