How do you clean/get the hair off the gloves?

You can use water before brushing but if you don’t wanna do that…since the 80s, I have used a “pick” comb to get hair off of brushes and other combs. Might try that and see! Dollar Tree sells them. Good luck! (I just ordered my gloves, so I don’t know yet.)

Would it work for rabbits as well ?

Yes, our pet grooming glove could also work for rabbits.

I have a beagle with short hair who sheds terribly. Will this glove work on a short haired dog?

My cat has short hair and it works on her. It doesn't get the under coat though.

Yes. This is anti-static. And you can spray a bit of water on the rubber side before using.
