Great portable DVD player! Bought this to help my toddler on an 8 hour road trip coming up!Pros: Light weight. Love the gray color. Easy to manipulate the screen. Car charger (about 5ft long) allows me to charge while in use. Speakers are loud enough for my toddler to hear while sitting in her car seat. Head phones will be even better when she’s old enough to keep them on. Picture quality is nice. Price was right. Comes with wall charger and AV cables.Cons: Remote will not turn off the player, you have to use the side button on the player to turn it off. You have to remove the player from the headrest to open it up and change out the DVD. Most portable players are like this however and these cons are not that big of a deal for me.

UPDATE: the seller promptly reached out to me to make this right and replace the faulty unit. Hats off to them for doing so. In light of that, I am upgrading my review to 5 star. That said, fingers crossed this battery is as good as their customer service!This is a decent portable dvd player. If it weren't for the awful battery, I'd give this five stars, however, as is, it gets 3.5 stars. The picture quality is excellent (crisp picture, good color), the swivel feature works very nicely, and though it's mostly plastic, the body doesn't feel flimsy. In hindsight, I do wish I had gotten the next size up, 12 1/2" is okay but still a little small but that's on me. The speakers are small, so don't expect great sound from them but headphones or a speaker will solve that. My only real gripe is the BATTERY life is TERRIBLE. You would be lucky to get 2 hours out of this thing - no where NEAR the five hours it claims in the description. I use it mostly for workout videos in our home gym and within 90 minutes, it needs recharging. If I was using it for travel, I would NOT be pleased. So, if in a car, be sure to have the car charger with you or if on a plane, hope your seat has a plug or you'll be in trouble.

Very nice. Picture good and easy to use. Wish the volume without the headset were louder.Very nice product for the price.

The media could not be loaded. The device almost exploded after 20 minutes in use. The battery got swollen to the extend it pushed a plastic cover out, while breaking braking through it!!!

Just got our DVD player in the mail! First impression is that is seems very cheaply made. Picture quality is good. Sound quality is fair. Can’t comment on the battery life as we just got it. I was a little disappointed in how short the car charger is but we can make it work. I’m afraid it won’t last very long but for $50 it’ll get the job done.

This portable DVD player was so great for traveling with our 2 year old! The picture quality seems good especially for the price. I really like how light weight the device is. It was very easy to travel with. The sound with headphones is great, without headphones the sound is a little on the low side, but is fine for kids sitting with the player. It might be difficult to hear if you had kids in the back row of the car and this player is up in the middle row. My favorite thing about this player is you can fold it flat over the control buttons which is amazing when you have a 2 year old that wants to push all the buttons and then gets mad when the player stops! This is also very sturdy! Our 2 year old was a little rough on this at times and it still plays great! I recommend this dvd player!

I've had a little 7" player for about 9 years now and needed a replacement. the size of the new screen is great and has real good color. happy with the movies I have run thru so far. The sound is ok but I am going to get headphones to make it more private. the remote is very small and I have large fingers so I need to watch where I push. It was a good buy for the money. So far it is a nice addition for taking my movies with me. Has a 1 year warranty so I will let you know if it holds up.

So, I had to adjust, adjust and again adjust the colors. In fact, I’m still doing so 🤦‍♀️ Movie scenes that take place during night time are shown extremely dark (on this DVD player) that it’s hard to see. (please check out the video posted to see what I’m talking about)-Volume Is ok. (I can barely hear the DVD player over my air conditioner 🤦‍♀️)The quality of this player really does depend on the DVD’s. I played Creed 2 and the quality was amazing. I then put in a box set like the Cosby Show (that I also purchased from Amazon) and it wasn’t so clear.Overall, I would say this player is decent. I would recommend buying it only if it’s on sale.
