ESSPhotochromic Safety Glasses, Scratch-Resistant, Wraparound

Great glasses for outdoor activities in varied lighting conditions, mountain biking, motorcycle riding, woodcutting, shooting, etc. Don't understand the review which claims they stay dark. Mine sure change tint from full on dark to clear with only a slight tint. I've owned several photochromic glasses before, both prescription (before lasik surgery) and afterwards and these are superior. They aren't cheap but better than eye injury or an accident caused by wearing dark sunglasses in changing light conditions. Retired Army.

These far surpassed my expectations.

They are okay. The transition happens very quickly, but the degree of darkening is very minimal. They are supposedly "anti-fog" but they fog up just as fast as any other pair I've worn. They are not bad safety glasses, but there are much better options out there for the price.

I wanted protective eye wear and sunglasses in 1 unit, but the transition part of these lenses is very disappointing. I may consider returning them since they were so expensive and I may as well just wear sunglasses. It is a shame since I like everything else, but the videos on youtube is very misleading. These lenses only change if you are staring directly into the sun, and maybe after a few minutes, the lenses will change to a dark shade, but no where near my expectations. Perhaps I will get the results I want if someone shoots a UV light in my face.

Excellent product, for wind, sun and flying debris due to strong winds, here in C.R., a lot of dust and I get full protection. Also it goes Dark within .seconds and reverts to regular clear lenses in shaded areas. Great product!

This store offers great experience and timely response. ESS products are durable and practical to everyday use. I saved the hassle of taking sunglasses on and off repeatedly.
