Work around for ppl 5'2" and under
Mom loves these! She is 5"2' and I put these swivel wheels on a junior walker for her. The height on the back legs is maxed out. But the front are in the middle of preset positions- you can lower the walker quite a bit. But if you are 5"2'-5"4' buy the 3 inch swivel wheels and junior walker. (We used the 5 inch wheels.) If you are taller just add the 3 or 5 inch wheels to a regular size walker depending on your height...Mom took them like a duck to water. Great, sturdy construction. She has taken it everywhere, even on grass and has not had a problem. They are fairly easy to lock the front wheels if you don't want to swivel. But you have to pick up the walker and line up the holes to do it.

Big improvement for my walker
Moved the regular wheels on my 2 wheel walker to the back legs, and put these swivel wheels on the front. Love it! So much easier to maneuver and turn without picking up the walker, and quieter. I can walk more smoothly and more quickly without stopping to turn the walker. Please be cautious if you try this - with 4 wheels it rolls very easily so you wouldn't want to lean on it too heavily. To be more stable, you could just replace the front wheels, and it would still be much easier to move around with the swivel wheels. I'm a 75 year old female and I had no trouble pressing the buttons to remove the legs, or exchanging the wheels. Really happy with the product and the fast delivery.

Bearings versus bushings! Check your swivel mechanism when they come!
So I would have given these wheels 5 stars, but I gave 4 and this is why. I work in the rehab business and use these wheels specifically for stroke recovery and gait training. I ordered these wheels here and I must say they are excellent quality. I agree with the comments on height, but that is just how they are.Why I marked them down is because when the walker vendor ordered a pair for a patient they wheels that came were different in spite of having the same model number. When compared the boxes were the same, and the vendor stated that they only have 1 order number for this set of wheels. Here is what I guess happened. The set I ordered here actually has bearings within the plastic and they turn very well with loaded weight. The 2nd set I got from the vendor was plastic with only a bushing inside for the shaft of the wheels. When placed under load they were awful, they stuck and did not swivel freely at all. Sadly, when I called the vendor, I got the same care not attitude that is pervasive in healthcare today as we are just burned out with rule followers and no judgement, "that is the only kind we stock." After explaining several times that Drive likely changed their design after much complaining from customers. I told them they should send their old stock back and get new stock of that order number, I got no response. I sent them back and am ordering them from here and keeping a set on hand for the patients. Agghhh. This is a great great product when chosen carefully and when they have a swivel bearing mechanism versus bushing swivel mechanism.Addendum: After speaking with vendor rep today in person, the confusion was straightened out and they had the "aha" moment. They will be contacting drive regarding the upgraded equipment.

Does exactly what it's supposed to, good value
These swivel walker wheels are great. I bought them for my Dad. It has made a world of difference. It is so much easier for him to maneuver his walker around the house.I chose this set of walker wheels because they have a larger wheel diameter. There is carpet and rugs as well as other obstacles. The larger wheels roll over those obstacles more easily than the smaller wheels. These are slightly heavier than the smaller wheels but that doesn't matter most of the time.I don't know that my Dad will ever use the locking feature. But it does seem like a good idea.

Nice swivel wheels
Nice, light weight swivel wheels for Drive Medical walker. Note that even at the lowest setting, model #10115 has 5” wheels which is perfect for taller folk, but not suitable for the short statured. Model #10113 with 3” wheels is better for shorter people. The only negative was that each box arrived severely damaged, but the item was unused and undamaged.

Drive Medline Swivel Walker Wheels
I've had these wheels for at least 3 weeks now and they work great. Quality, price and delivery were exceptional. They were easy to install and give me so much more freedom of movement. I no longer have to lift my walker every step. They maneuver through our home, including narrow bathroom door, around corners, on carpeting and hard kitchen floor. Also very easy to use outdoors on concrete and blacktop surfaces.. I bought these wheels based on info on amazon.com page and reviews by other customers. It did raise the height of my walker but, since I no longer have to lift the walker to move, that is not a problem at all and we did raise the rear legs a bit. Two sets of glides for the rear wheels came with the wheels. The set that slips over the original rubber tips are way better than the other set that totally replaces the rubber tips. I hate them.
