The Art of Angel Sanctuary 2: Lost Angel (English and Japanese Edition)

This books is beautiful ❤️ Kaori yuki is one of my favorite and angel sanctuary is my all time favorite manga

I'd like to open by saying that I had been waiting them to release this book for the longest time, and since I thought that they never would, I purchased a Japanese copy of it at a convention a few months ago for 30$. I just think that's pretty funny :-P. Anyway (so far as I can tell from my japanese copy XD) The art is just as amazing as the first book's. I did find some of the pictures familiar, but it has all new illustrations, I promise (no doubles from the last one). Most of the drawings are in color how ever it does feature some b&w ones (but that's because they were never colored in in the first place, so they could be bonus pictures or colorless chapter covers for the manga.) Again there is a section at the back which lists character information and explains about the story. Again, my copy is in Japanesse, but so far as i can tell, this character section features new material as well. In conclusion, this is a wondeful edition to any Angel Sanctuary (Tenshi Kinryo Ku) fan's library. However, if you're as fanatical as I am, then you probably aldready have one in Japanese. Lol ~_^ J/K.

Love Kaori Yuki's art so this was a must buy. The price was good and it was deleivered in excellent condition.

As a HUGE fan of Kaori Yuki (Angel Sanctuary was the first manga I ever read)I would most definitely recommend this book to fans of Kaori Yuki's work especially those who have read and loved her !EPIC! Angel Sanctuary series.The book itself is hardcover and the quality of the paper and printing is top-notch. The art is detailed and beautifully presented but this is so much more than just an art book acting as an ecyclopedia for all things Angel Sanctuary with a glossary of terms and biographies of ALL the characters that appeared throughout the 20 volume series. However, the most insightful part of the book was the in-depth interview with the author herself where she discusses the creative process, her inspirations, her career as a manga-ka as well as her favourite scenes and characters complete with first sketches. If you haven't read Angel Sanctuary (or Tenshi Kinryouku to give it its Japanese title) read it now preferably before you buy this book as it contains more than a few spoilers for those who haven't finished reading the series but if your fan of Angel Sanctuary and Kaori Yuki you won't regret purchasing this amazing book. 5 Stars!!!

Magnifique artbook. J'apprécie d'autant plus la couverture en dur (par rapport à la version japonaise qui est une souple il me semble).Reliure parfaite, et c'est cool d'avoir la dernière partie du livre traduire en Anglais (quand on ne sait pas lire le japonais).Un livre à avoir quand on est fan de ce manga!
