The customer service from the manufacturer has been more than great and accommodating to any questions I had about the system that from my understanding were not clear in the instruction manual or installation instructions. After owning this system for several months I can say that it does in fact reduce the mineral content and hardness of the water that I had before installing the system. My evidence of that is a drastic reduction in water spot buildup in my kitchen stainless steel sinks, glass shower doors, and black cars that I own and wash.I installed the system using copper piping and shark bite fittings. I used the shark bite fittings for future maintenance so it would be much easier to quickly disconnect the copper piping from the tanks when it is time to change out the media in the tanks after reaching around a million gallons of usage, but that will be roughly 10+ years down the line. I also installed two water pressure gauges, one prior to the filtration process and one after the filtration process to determine the drop in pressure across the system to let me know when it is time to replace the sediment filters. I opted to source my own clear housing water filters rather than use the blue filter housings that came with the bundle for two reasons. The first reason is that I wanted to be able to visually see how the filters looked and determine for myself in conjunction with pressure readings when it is time to change out the sediment filters instead of relying on a timed schedule of replacing filters. Second, I wanted to source a filter that had brass female threading on the housing versus PVC plastic so I could torque down my fittings without having to worry about stripping the threads and giving it a good seal with tape sealant. LiquaGen customer service was really great and gave me a refund for the unused pre and post sediment filters that I did not use and I was more than happy with their understanding of why I opted not to use their supplied filter housings.My only complaint with the system is that the two tanks are different when it comes to the piping of the system, as the larger tanks sits taller and has the entry and exit piping entering and exiting from left to right on the tank, while the smaller tank sits shorter and has the piping running differently at what would be a normal installation, at the rear of the tank. This makes for an awkward installation and offsets the smaller tank forward just a bit and for someone that has an eye for symmetry in makes for a lopsided installation. I voiced my concern to LiquaGen and they said they would have their engineers look at it.I can't tell if the water tastes any better because I have a reverse osmosis system in the kitchen that I use for drinking water, and I can't feel that the water is any more softer when taking a shower. I can only attest to the fact that there is a lot less hardness and water spots after installing the system. ### ⭐ No Customer Service / Defective Product *by M***. on Reviewed in the United States on August 10, 2020* We purchased this unit in October 2019 and had it installed by a licensed and well respected plumbing company. Less than 8 months later, we noticed decreased water pressure throughout the home and noticed black granules coming through the faucets. We contacted the plumbing company that installed the unit and they determined that the membrane that holds the granules that filter the water in one of the tanks had ruptured. This resulted in the granules being dispersed throughout the water lines in the house. The plumbers had to remove every faucet, shower head, feed to the dishwasher, ice maker, etc. to remove the granules. Then, they had to remove the granules that remained in the tank. Finally, they had to bypass the entire system until the tank was replaced/repaired. I have left two messages per day and sent one email per day to customer service for the last three weeks with absolutely no response. I am unable to reach them to get the problem addressed or to order a replacement part. DO NOT purchase from this company as there is absolutely no customer support or recourse if you encounter an issue. ### ⭐⭐⭐ What good is a product with a defective part *by S***W on Reviewed in the United States on May 7, 2020* I tried to contact the seller because today, the 3rd day from install the unit is spraying out water. I called the plumber who advised there is a manufactory defect the 1 inch male/ female adapter has split (Plastic) and water shooting out. This is on the manual backwash valve. I'm not able to contact anyone.... Amazon customer service closed due to Virus.
