Review: A Good Find - Having been in box for 19 years, I was surprised when only the rubber bands on the doll's braids had deteriorated. No fading or other quality/wear issues. Mattel released a new Dutch Barbie last year, and I purchased both as gifts for my sister, and while the newer doll is certainly more detailed and accurate, the original Dolls of the World Barbie is as gorgeous as ever.

Having been in box for 19 years, I was surprised when only the rubber bands on the doll's braids had deteriorated. No fading or other quality/wear issues. Mattel released a new Dutch Barbie last year, and I purchased both as gifts for my sister, and while the newer doll is certainly more detailed and accurate, the original Dolls of the World Barbie is as gorgeous as ever.
