This is an incredible resource!!
I know many of you will want to see examples of some of the exercises in this book, and there are MANY. I’m about a quarter of the way through it now and I find it to be very well written and easy to digest. One thing I would recommend is giving yourself time to reflect after each chapter and the accompanying exercises. It can be a lot to take in and you will have many “aha” moments as the exercises in this book help you connect the dots between your present and past behaviors to the way you process your emotions. This can be overwhelming at times but will also leave you feeling at peace as you gain a new understanding and empathy for yourself and your actions.A word of caution: You should only buy this book and complete the exercises inside if you’re willing to be brutally honest with yourself and view your behaviors from a completely objective standpoint. You won’t get much out of this if you try to fool yourself into denying that you have negative behavioral patterns OR beat yourself up for not being perfect. Have some compassion for yourself and try to enjoy discovering patterns in your thinking and behaviors.

Get it.
If you're willing to put the effort in, no matter how slowly you progress or how often you wanna sit down with this, buy it. I'm so happy I did, this workbook helped me understand my behaviours and patterns so much better and I'm much better than before I got this. There's no pressure on how quickly you finish the chapters - I've been working on mine for about a year and still have loads left, which is fantastic. Thank you <3

Validating and insightful
This book is incredible, it is easy to understand and honestly takes away all of the stigma around bpd. I no longer feel ashamed of having bpd because of this book, it validates my experiences and gives me so much optimism about getting better and overcoming bpd. I also recommend the author’s- Dr Fox’s YouTube channel it’s been life changing for me and it makes me feel so understood.

Didn’t Expect It To Work! 🖤
I’ve always been very skeptical with self-help books, especially when they’re touching on mental health issues. I’d be lying if I said I went into reading this workbook with an open mind.However.I am now on Part 2 of the book and the author has really opened my mind. I always thought I’d be stuck with my BPD forever, stuck with these horrible feelings and responses to normal situations. This author helped me realise this is not the case, and that even though BPD is a lot more complex than I once thought, it’s very treatable and you can overcome it.I would massively recommend this to anyone, and no I’m not getting paid for this review haha. I’m about to purchase his second BPD book; the complex BPD workbook.

Great book, easy to read and makes you reflect on yourself thoroughly
However, having read the 7 key symptoms of borderline in chapter 1 I realised that I most likely do not have this disorder. I could just about pick 2 of the symptoms but im really enjoying working through the excercise regardless. It’s a good book to use to reflect on yourself thoroughly.

Brilliant, absolutely brilliant!
I'm part way through this after being recently diagnosed, and already I felt compelled to share a positive review. It's just fantastic. I've been working through a short course DBT programme with a therapist, but this book is even better. The way it explains everything, keeps you engaged, gets you to explore things... It's just brilliant! My only advice would be to buy the paper copy rather than the kindle version just because there's so much for you to fill in, and that's an important part. Definitely worth a try!

Life changing
Such a good book. Has helped me so much. Made me realise my root problem and I was able to work and change my approach to every day situations

Great for people with cPTSD too.
I have complex post traumatic stress disorder as opposed to borderline personality, but many of the symptoms overlap. I had been following Dr Fox's excellent youtube videos for a while, so I was looking forward to this book. I only have it a few days, but already I am finding it really helpful.It is a work book so there are plenty of practical exercises, which are really useful. Everything is explained really clearly and empathically. There is also a really helpful summary and 'what did you learn' at the end of each chapter.I am so grateful to have a resource like this. Thank you Dr Fox.
