has anyone used them in the sea

My grandchildren live on Southcoast but not heard of them using them in sea. More fun had in a swimming pool I would have thought.

When dropped to they stand up straight or just lay st the bottom i.e. If weigted at one end?

Yes when dropped they gently drop to the bottom of the pool and remain upright, rarely do they fall over. These are excellent in getting children used to swimming under water. These add fun to swimming.

Not sure whether to get the rings or the sticks?

I would opt for the sticks if kids are on the younger side as they are easier to dive down for and grasp whereas the rings would be trickier as they would flush with the pool floor so I guess it’s how much you want to challenge your kids. we have these sticks and all the kids at the pool want to play with them!
