Stonewall Kitchen Caramelized Onion Mustard, 220 g (7.75 oz)

This mustard has great zing and flavor. Has a somewhat slight smoke flavor but also a sweet/tangy taste from the caramelized onion. I actually first tried this mustard on a turkey sandwich from a coffee shop in a local hospital and the owner paired it with the cranberry spread from the same company. Tastes great on some honey oat bread with a choice of cheese. Enjoyed it so much, I had to ask what the spreads were and I was told to look for them on Amazon. Now I can make a delicious turkey and cheese sandwich anytime at home. The jar size will last awhile because not much is needed to get a good sense of the flavoring. Not spicy at all. There aren't long stringy bits of onions and there aren't even chunks of caramelized onion. The onion is barely noticeable. Smooth, rich texture, like you'd expect from a mustard. The shelf life is great. The expiration date on my jar is over a year from the date it was delivered to me. I put it in the fridge right away because I prefer chilled condiments but I do believe you don't need to refrigerate it until after opening. Looking for a new flavor? This will become your next favorite.

So good. It’s great with a meat and cheese tray and also on a sandwich. It takes mustard to a new level.

Better than excellent. Never was crazy about mustard, but this mustard I can eat right out of the jar. Didn't last long, already on 2nd jar. All Stonewall products are fantastic.

The flavor of this is very nice... the toasted onions give it an extra dimension that is very nice. I look forward to trying it on sandwiches.

In the early 2000's onion mustard was a local craze. I grew to absolutely love it and was sad when the craze passed and it was not available locally anymore. I spent 20 years looking at store shelves hoping to see it again. Finding this has thrilled me. It's sweet slightly tangy flavor and the bits of onion add the perfect touch that I was missing.
