~ There are certain products made for professionals. ~ This product is made for people who know the difference between the graphite & colour pencil points. ~ This is not a product to flaunt. ~ The only minus here is the flimsy plastic cover which covers the sharpener holes. ~ If you have a habit of dropping your pencil every 5 minutes, this sharpener won't fix the broken lead automatically...so don't blame the sharpener and give it a one star! :)

Jusk a ok product. Price is too much. Packaging is good and it's new.

The product itself is fully satisfactory - it is beautifully designed, functionally perfect and looks great sitting on your desk. The only reason I am giving four stars instead of five is that it came covered with horribly sticky labels and it took a long time to remove them and their residue. I wonder why the labels cannot be pasted onto the packaging instead of being pasted on the product itself.

I feel it’s expensive but then it’s coming from a brand of great repute. I love the fact that I don’t need to rush to dustbin after every single process of sharpening. The pencil shavings are nicely collected.

Sharpener is fine, but it was sent outside of Amazon channels and I had to pay approx 8€ in taxes

Surprisingly well engineered. Cap on top for when the tank is full, so that the pen shavings doesn't comes out in your pencil case and stain everything with graphite. Fully dismantlable with screws, nothing is glued. Two pen size to sharpen. secured tank with a push button so that it won't open in your pencil case. Affordable. All in all, I think it's the best pencil sharpener I've seen so far.

While the Kum Longpoint is still my all time favorite, this Staedtler is very very good. I'd rank it above the Kum Magnesium, Prismacolor, and Pacific Arc manual sharpeners. It produces a moderate to long point, and so far, the blades have stayed sharp. They are replaceable, held in place with small screws. The shaving container is big enough. Smaller than Prismacolor, but larger than the Kum Long Point. I have tried several different hardnesses of lead, all with good results. The lid features my favorite design of the leading players; it's properly hinged and folds into a small recess when the sharpener is in use. The Kum and Prismacolor both have "flap" style hinges that break over time. All in all a very good choice.
