Air Filter Factory Replacement For Samsung DE63-00367D, DE63-00367H, DE63-30016D Microwave Oven Charcoal Carbon Filter

The review asked me to comment on three things: value for money, sheerness, and easy to install. The first is easy. It is cheap. The last is easy. If you follow the instructions for your model, it is fairly straightforward. But here is where I had to pause for a minute, to catch my breath, and to muse on what does it mean to review ‘sheerness.’ At first, I thought it was referring to a small, though rather lovely, seaside town in England, which boasts a population of just under 12,000—a really nice place to grab a cuppa or maybe a mr. Whippy with a flake (if that’s even still a thing in the 2020s—I left the UK in 2006). But alas, I don’t think this product really should be compared to a smashing seaside town in England… it’s an air filter, after all. So I whip out my handy google and smash in the term sheerness and it tells me, in dulcet tones, that it is the result, or product, of being sheer. Well, I know you can sheer a sheep, but I don’t think this air filter can also double as a sheep sheerer. But, I did a bit deeper, and find that if used as an adverb, sheer means completely or altogether. So I ask myself, did this product change my life completely? And I must say it did. It has allowed me to once again heat up my bowl of oatmeal to an acceptable mouth-feel temperature and to occasionally heat up those little mini pizza that I know contain more calories than they let on. And so it is in this regard that I must also award this air filter, nay this sheep sheerer, a perfect score. If you give it a little space, it will achieve great things. Fly little air filter, fly.

This is a replacement Charcoal Filter (Part#: DE63-00367D) for my Samsung SMH9187W Microwave Oven. The Charcoal filter part on this new one you can see through whereas the original from the microwave (I know it's old) was a far heaver charcoal filter that you couldn't even see through. Quality is the issue, it's not as good as the original. I didn't buy a OEM Samsung filer because of the higher cost, perhaps should have.

Doesn’t seem to filter the air whatsoever. Pricey here better than original, however it doesn’t do it’s intended job.
