They were a little stiff at first. I had to open and close multiple times to get them to loosen up.

These are cute but the opening is very narrow even when opened as wide as possible. I don’t have large hands at all and still can only manage to get my fingers in. Maybe would work best for a short depth purse and not a long one like I was planning on making for these to use for glasses. If you are an impatient person, you’ll pull your hair out trying to hold the fabric inside the edge to sew it in. Baste stitch it first or you’ll spend an hour trying to sew it.

For the price ( and for a lot more tbh) these frames are well made and identical to one I bought elsewhere recently for far more, except it had wooden bobbles for the kisslock. Can highly recommend
