Pulled a Ford Ranger from Oregon to NY with no issues. Easy to install.

I never flat towed a vehicle before and I was nervous about towing with such an inexpensive device but the reviews were good so I gave it a shot!! This thing is awesome!! It tows great and doesn't take long to install or hook up the vehicle. My only concern is the cheap cotter pin that holds the larger D pins in place on the tow vehicle. On my first tow of approx 40 miles one pin was almost completely straightened out and close to falling out!! Which means the vehicle could have fallen off or lost control. On the return trip it straightened out even worse!! So I purchased more heavy duty pins from a tractor supply store and that seemed to fix the issue.

Some fabrication required but no surprise. Expected as much for the price. The included safety chain is way too light for 5000lb capacity. I will upgrade myself. Again I'm not complaining for the price. I would rather not have a chain included so I didn't have a false sense of security. The product was exactly as advertised.

The pins that hold it to the braket on bumper have very cheap retainers i almost lost my car one side came lose if you use grade 5 or 8 bolts with a tread locing nut and washers it would be ok if you dont know what i am saying have a mechanic install

You have to be a Fabricator. Takes drilling and Mounting without ANY Guide or Instructions. As I am a welder.. i WILL be able to mount the Attachment brackets. I had assumed from the pix it would line up use the towing lugs on the front of my Metro.. Since it was "SUPPOSEDLY": Specific for a 99 Metro.

Needed for a small Jon boat project. Works perfectly for towing a small homemade dolly on which my boat sits. It's now far easier to get the boat in and out of the pond.

towed a Chevy Sonic from St Louis to Idaho With this! The hardware was kinda cheep , so I went to the hardware store and got some grade 8 hardware.

It takes time to mount (especially the first time). Not for those who are not mechanically inclined. Remember, you are towing your car!
