Before install I shampoo the hair with Shimmering Lights to get rid of the yellow/gold when hair was drying it had a wave to it. My stylist installed and we did a test curl with flat irons and it curled right up, she then went through with a flat iron and you see the end results the hair was flowing, the only thing I don't like is the split ends....BUT WITH 613 there will be some split ends. Over all I will order again for price.
