These skewers are huge! If you plan on making kabobs with large cubes of meat or giant shrimps, this would be perfect. Unfortunately I tend to make kabobs with smaller shrimps and thin slices of meat and this just shreds things because the skewers are thin, but as wide as my pinky finger. Will probably give it to my brother-in-law who likes to make manly kabobs. Although it's not good for my needs, I still gave it five stars for quality.

I love these, but I have one warning. Be very careful! These are sharp and when I say sharp I mean will stab through your hand sharp. Aside from being dangerous they work great! The one downside to these is that you can not always easily rotate the food on the one side with the handle.

Larger than I thought but seem to be great for shish kabobs. Wide so food won't spin on skewer and has a handle to push the food off the skewer without burning your fingers.

I got so tired of having pieces of meat spin around when I tried to turn them. I saw these on a cooking channel and they work superb.

These are hands down the best skewers I have used. I own the Quirky skewers and these are better quality in that they are thicker and the sliders stays in place. I like them so much I order a second set.

The thing that slides the food off is a nice touch, especially when the food is hot.

These skewers are quality stainless! Heavy and substantial. They are flat versus round so the food doesn't spin around the skewer when grilling. 17" that accommodates a large portion. Definitely another set on my Christmas wish list.
